How to get my dvd player to work in my infiniti qx56 truck

I had the same problem on my 04. Found a used unit on Ebay for $150 and just pulled ou the old one, put in the new one. Appears to work. Do not ahve the manual and am not able to enter in other states (appears to only have addresses for CA?)

at times the water in the headlight may not be related to it not working. Check the socket for the light. Check the wiring and the relay for loose connections or exposed wiring. Water may enter exposed wires causing it to fail. Check also the rubber seals. It may have corroded due to heat. See if you can have silicon seal any opening on the glass part of the headlamp.

SOURCE: qx56 rear dvd player will not read original discs.

Get a cleaning disk or compressed air from a computer store and blow into the disk drive and see if that works
