I once paid 350$ for a zip tie around my coil. the jeep would run for a day or so then die. The shop was stumped. They scanned it and all. Finally figured out it was the connector at the coil.

99 jeep grand cherokee has power to one coil pack but no spark

The 6 cyl engine uses a coil strip for all 6 cylinders, and the 8 cyl uses one coil per cylinder. So I assume you have an 8 cyl engine.
You are saying one coil has power but is not firing ?
Have you switched it with another cylinder to eliminate the coil as a possible problem ?

Can you tell me if and/or where the fuse or fuseable link is for the alternator on a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee 6 cyl. 4 litre is? Thanks.

Under the hood near the battery in the power distribution center there are 2 big fuses listed in the manual for Generator output #1 blue 60Amp and #9 blue 60 amp. I hope this helps. ATR

Ignition coil keeps burning up.

It's a cheap Chinese coil which burns out easily from not sparking at the right time from either a bad or non signal from the crank or cam sensor, one or even both sensors or wiring may be bad.
