Question about 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD
My 2002 silverado needed fuel (gas light on). Got fuel. Began to bog down and eventually quit. What could be wrong?
Check fuel pressure at injector rail. It should be at least 45psi.
If it is low replace fuel filter. If pressure is still low you will need a new fuel pump.
Dirt from the bottom of the fuel tank may have burned the pump or blocked filter.
