Question about 1997 GMC Suburban
Three days ago I replaced one of the batteries in my 97 gmc turbo diesel as it wouldn't hold a charge and I also replaced the s-belt. This morning, the battery light came on and the charging gauge stayed at mid-point for the first time ever. Should I have replaced both batteries at the same time or is there another problem?
Battery light probably means low output from the alternator. You can have it checked at your local parts store. Hope this helps!
