Have a 2004 rendezvous and I get fuel but little spark to the plugs

You might want to try and take the number 2 cylinder spark plug out and look at it it should be a Gray or very light Brown color.
It's also possible that there's number 2 spark plug had water splashed on it and it was very hot and could have cracked the porcelain on the spark plug. Does your Buick have over a 100000 miles on it or near a 100000 miles if so they may be original spark plugs and need to be changed you can try one Thing, try changing number 2 spark plug with number one or number 3 and see if the problem moves with the spark plug, if it does the spark plug is definitely bad if it doesn't you may have to start looking at the spark plug Wires or maybe even the fuel injector but, you can do the same thing with the fuel injector change it with number 1 and see if the problem moves. Shield injectors usually just pull out of the fuel rail but be careful there's an O ring on them don't lose it it should stay on but you never know.

You have to drop the tank to get to the actual fuel pump plug. If you just want to disable the fuel pump, pull the fuel pump relay.

Did you check for fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge before replacing fuel pump ? Did you test for spark ? Is there compression . Is the security light lit on the instrument cluster ? anti-theft system stops injectors from working if a problem is present. You changed the battery ? Battery Disconnect or Replacement Problems

Camshaft. Sensor

Coil pack provides spark to plugs. I would check and or replace that. To test it you will need a Haynes manual for your car and a digital multimeter. It is not hard to do. Hope this is helpful.

I would check into replacing a fuel pressure regulator its easy to install and it usually under 10 bucks.

It is mounted in the top of the fuel pump/sending unit assembly.

if you replace one by one you dont need a firing order.

The fuel tank must be removed to replace the fuel pump, be care when changing the pump, a little spark from a tool and you can be instant toast.
