Coolant reservoir empty in 2000 jaguar s type 4.0

If there is no obvious water leaks on the ground then the engine is burning the coolant. Watch the tail pipe to see if water drips from it. Pressure test the cooling system to see if it will hold pressure. If it won't then take out all the spark plugs to see which cylinder the coolant is leaking into and why.

81 jaguar is leaking water from top rear passenger side of engine. could it be a freeze plug?

if it is a V-12, it is more likely a leaking head gasket or cracked head.
Before jumping to that conclusion, make sure it isn't just your heater core leaking. (This is not an easy fix but much easier than a head gasket on a V-12... and it can be temporarily bypassed).
Best of luck to you!

Where ie the water pump on a 2004 jaguar X-type

The serpentine belt is on the left side of the motor. You will notice another belt on the right side of the motor to the left of the battery. You will have to remove the battery to get to the belt and water pump. If the leak is in this area then you probably have a bad water pump. It is not that difficult to replace.

Very noisy squeky fron suspension on jaguar xj8

You might need a lube job or you may need to see if noise is coming from another place such as your engine water pump, brakes, power steering. Look for leaks.
