Question about 2004 Ford E150

Open Question

Back sofa seat in conversion van stopped working.

Electronic sofa seat was working fine. It stopped working all the sudden when the stepson and friend used the van. Checked fuses, power to the circuit board, nothing. Sherrod, which is NO help, mentioned the circuit breaker fuse in the fuse panel. Still Nothing. What else could it be?

SOURCE: How do you lay down rear seat flat?

I just bought a 93 GMC Safari Van and couldn't figure this out either. Luckily, I did have the manual. It appears that the  lever under the front of the sofa moves in forwards and backwards. There is a lever on the corner of each side. Lift up on each and pull cushion forward. Also, you can push on the back of the sofa to help it go down. Hope this helps!

I just had the same problem. If it is a regular van try under the driver seat in a plastic box. If it is a conversion van try in a pannel just behind driver seat on side of van wall behind a pannel that looks like a vent.

SOURCE: power windows don't work

I had the same problem. There was a wire broken into where the wires go from the door to the inside of the cab. There is a rubber boot over the wires that you have to take loose to see the wires. I changed fuses, checked switches, and relays but i finally found the problem. I hope this helps. DVPNN

SOURCE: power seats will not operate the circuit breaker

Obviously power is being drawn by something, perhaps motor is stuck, shot , or switch is faulty. If you can get to motor wires & test for voltage, even by poking with a test light. There should be no voltage to motor on either wire, until switch is pushed. It will supply voltage to 1 wire, then the other, when switched to opposite direction. just reverses polarity. The switch may be faulty & supplying voltage to motor, and telling it to rotate in direction that it has already went as far as it can.

Cargo space

Hi Jill:
82 inches is just a shade under 6ft 10 inches so if a tall friend can lie in the back with a lunch box between his feet and the back of the seats, probably.
The other worry is will it fit through the door.
Measure height and depth and check against the door.

If you don't have a tape available, you can use a broom handle and a marker pen to get the sizes..

How do you remove the back seat from a 1994 chevy g20 van?

I believe the seats are bolted to the floor of the van. Make sure you unplug all electrical connections before removing the seats.

Cant adjust electronic seat and turn signals went out

Everything that is electronic on ur van is connected and if one goes down it takes the rest with them. I have worked in service at dodge for 13 yrs and I know there is only 2 options for what u are describing. The circuit board behind the speedometer or the heater assembly. Unplug them one at a time and everything that doesn't work now will come back on when u unplug bad one

There might be a fuse under the sofa behind the skirt looking at it from the rear of the sofa. Check the switch it might be bad.
