You pays your money and takes your chances

It is all about power and warranty, you can get a higher amperage batttery which will turn the engine over a bit quicker and handle the loads easier you can get a 1 year warranty or a 3 year warranty.

If you are keeping the car 3 years it is worth going for the 3 year warranty

If the car is used a lot in winter conditions when there is a large drain on the battery it is worth getting one with more power.

You have to make the choice

Do I need to replace my battery

You want us to guess--- do you?

How about testing the battery

For that car, you have to go to a dealers
parts dept, for the battery, as it has a vent tube
on it.

They only last 2 to 4 years on a Lincoln L/S, but
they have a 100 month warranty,so you can keep
getting new batteries for up to 8.3 years for free, once
you buy the first one

How do I know if my 2005 Audi A6 4.2L Qauttro has a timing belt or timing chain?

Chain. A little trick for finding answers like this: Go to the web site for an auto parts supplier (Rock Auto, Autozone, NAPA, etc.) and look up your car. They will only list parts specific to your year, model and engine/tranny. If neither is listed, it means demand is too low for them to stock it, or it is a dealer only part. Alternatively, call an Audi dealer service dept. and ask for a price on replacing it, or call directly to the parts department. They will tell you which it is and give you a price. Quattros are a solid ride. Miss ours. Happy motoring!

I need to install a fuel pressure regulator on a 2005 Ford Escape

How do you know the fuel pressure regulator failed?

What test told you so?

I called a lincoln dealer, by me, for someone on fixya a
couple years ago & the parts dept told me, they only gave
out 3 in six years,so that is not a high failure item.

Only a couple screws to remove ,I believe
Could be screwed into the end of the fuel rail
Look at it & you know

2005 forenza bucking during acceleration

Well you have to always use the scan tool & road test
to look at data

Transmission aside you have to see if the motor runs properly

Bucking could be old spark plugs, failed ignition coils, bad egr valve
& more, basic preventative maintenance your not aware need to be
done every 2 or 3 years & look at data a couple times a year

Since 2005 the exhaust converter may be worn out so look at the
scan tool info on a road test no dealer is going to do much that is needed

If you failed to change the trans fluid every 3 years then who knows
how that's doing,not well possibly.

The dealer wasted your time, blew you off

I got into an accident and my airbag deployed can I replace it with an ordinary steering rack?

Generally, the airbag module can be replaced. It is highly recommended that a dealer service dept perform this service! You normally don't have to replace the whole steering wheel or system.

I do know of a problem that chevy had on diesel injectors and were replacing them if pressure was below a certain pressure as the injectors had failed, they would test them and fell below spec. would replace but on diesel not gas.

Multiple error codes reported: U0100

UO 100-109 typically loss (or near loss) of communications with Onstar. Problem may be loose harness connection or defective onstar backup battery. I'm working on this issue with my 2008 Vue as we speak. I had a very similar code before, last year, and the dealer replaced the battery and the issue was resolved. There does exsist a service dept advisory informing dealers of this Onstar battery issue. Good luck.
