Some of these systems have a security key code that the ignition switch in the column has to recognize before it will crank the engine over. These have been notorious for the tiny wires coming from the key tumbler assy to the plugin to break. I have taken these and soldered and sealed and has worked fine. Otherwise you will have to buy a new tumbler set and then have reset to your key code.

I replaced the head gaskets on my 2003 buick lesabre and did not unhook the battery I have power but when I try to start it nothing happens

Please elaborate on "nothing happens". No click, no turn over, or?
"has power" means? What voltage do you read?

Try bridging the two heavy wires on the solenoid. Turns over?

Temporarily connect battery to small wire on solenoid. Turns over?

Try jumping from another car. Did that work?

Fusible Link wiring corroded & open circuit, does
everything electrical work except the starting circuit?

Turn key & have power to starter solenoid ?
Neutral Switch !
Ignition Switch !

Tough to guess without wiring diagrams,
to see where to start testing

Can't fix what you don't know you have

Won't start

So it's a no crank condition? Do dash lights, gauges, and everything else work when the car won't crank over? If so, buy a cheap $5.00 testlight, and when the car won't crank, pull the small black wire off the starter solenoid. While someone holds the key in start (cranking) position and clutch pedal depressed, see if the black wire has power as it should. (Ground the testlight and just touch the wire's end terminal. If powered, the testlight will light up.) If power there, then the starter solenoid is failing. Toyota starters are very good units, but the solenoid's internal contacts get old and pitted.
If no power at the black wire, then the start circuit from ignition switch to clutch safety switch (on the clutch pedal) to starter relay to starter solenoid will have to be diagnosed. To double-check: take a single battery jumper cable and put it on the positive battery post connection. Put the other end of the jumper cable on the solenoid terminal where black wire was removed. Key can be off. Make sure car is in neutral, brake set. If starter now operates, solenoid is O.K., and it is a problem in the start circuit, -ignition switch, neutral start switch, or in the wiring.
Now find a grounding place for testlight under the dash. When car won't crank, check for power coming out of ignition switch on the black wire with white stripe. This is the start wire for the starter solenoid. Key must be in crank position. Wire shoud be powered-ignition switch is working. If no power, switch is failing. You can do the same for the clutch start switch-it's a simple switch, that when clutch is depressed switch is closed and passes power on from ignition switch to the starter relay (thus allowing power to the starter solenoid). Black wire, red stripe-this is wire from clutch switch to starter relay. When key is in crank, clutch depressed, this wire should be hot.
With me so far? Still haven't found a problem, or any loose connections? Next and last is the starter relay. It is located under dash, close to gas pedal, but under the center console, just forward and left of gear shifter. It can be tested and the wiring diagnosed there, but relays are cheap, so just swap in another and see if that helps.
If you have tried everything, and still no help, you could try a new wire from the relay to the starter solenoid. This is that black wire we started with. Older toyotas sometimes have a problem with degraded wiring not passing enough current to operate the starter

2002 buick Lesabre (Limited) - When operating the AC I have warm air coming out of the on driver's side vents and cold air on coming out the passanger side vents.

check battery, battery cables, starter, starer solenoid, check if your battery have any power left, by turning lights on, if light is strong then on the starter motor, remove the remote wire, the thin wire connected to the starter from the ign. switch, instead of the remote cable, try to by pass it, with battery voltage, with ign switch on on pasition, if your starter works the starter is good if not change the estater, if starter works then check the remote wire, could be damage, could be the starter switch, fuse , or the starter relay. when working on car always make sure if the engine starts there is rotsting components. Thanks

Where is the starter relay on a 1996 Buick LeSabre? The car will start if the starter solenoid is jumped across, but not with switch only. I need to check the starter relay, but can't find it.

ok. the relay is under dash drivers side left of the steering column. now first check for power with key in the start position. at the heavy yellow wire at the relay and then check the purple wire if both have power then your neutral safety switch mybe at fault. check it as well. check for power at the switch bolted to transmission. the two heavy wires going to the switch will be starter in and starter out. so check for power at the two there if power goes in but nothing comes out the change the neutral safety switch.

My 1999 buick Lesabre will not start even though the horn, lights, radio works and the starter is new. Is there computer problem?

It may be the ignition switch key cylinder. My Buick did the same. Everything worked except starting. Dealer replaced cylinder and reprogramed two ignition keys. Copst, $504.
