Question about 2008 Ford Edge
My 2007 Ford Edge is suddenly giving me squeeking noise from front tire/break area. It comes and stops at times but will stop when I apply breaks. I dont feel any problem breaking. It has 48k on it. Thx for the help.
You should grease your ball joints and tie rods. Chances are these are sealed and have never been greased since manufacturing. Go to an autoparts store and ask for a hyperdermic needle for a grease gun and puncture the boot with the needle and give it 3-4 shots of grease. Allow a day or so for it to work in and you should be fine. The repair shops will tell you to replace these parts costing you around $400. Been there before and autozone told me to try this. over a year later and no problems whatsoever from doing this. The needle does not cause the boot to leak grease as I thought it would.
