You change it like you'd change any headlamp bulb. There is an access cap behind the headlamp assembly -- remove it, then remove the connector to the bulb, then remove the retaining clip/spring holding the bulb in place. Then install/insert the new bulb in the same 'ORIENTATION' as the old one. Reinstall in reverse order... ALAKAZAM!... .done!

2007 Hyundai Tucson: Driver side bright light doesn't work. Changed bulb.

Try swapping the light with the one that does work, see it that bulb is actually good. If it doesn't work then the bulb is bad. If it does check the socket and test the leads to make sure you have 12V at the socket. If 12V is there check for a bad ground. It will be one or the other.

How How do i change the headlight bulb on the drivers side of my 2007 Hyundai Entourage?

You have to take the black plastic top off under the hood on the front.....than you take the whole headlight out, I believe it's only two bolts...there is opening for each light and they are pretty simple to change.

I have a 2006 tucson, one headlight low beam doesn't work but the high beam does. i have changed the bulb, and relay fuse and still nothing, any ideas?

I suppose my clarification was more of a possible solution. Looking for other thoughts or ideas as well. I can live without the high beams. I can't live without my low beams!

Hi, I have a 2006 Hyundai Tucson. I love my Tucson except for one thing, it keeps blowing headlights. I have never had this issue with any other vehicle. I see that it seems to be a common issue with...

Have your voltage checked. This is usually done with an alternator test at a local autoparts store. If that checks out look closely at the mounts for the headlight and make sure its not loose. Vibration can cause bulbs to blow. Make sure there is no moisture in the lens. Water will cause it to blow.. Lastly when you replace the bulb do not touch the glass. The oil from your skin will cause it to blow early.

Instructions on how to replace drivers side

Open hood, reach behind headlight. If necessary remove battery and coolant overflow tank.
Then reach in behind headlight. There will be a plastic ring on back of headlight. Turn counter clockwise and pull back and slide back out of the way. Then grab the headlight bulb, turn counter-clockwise and pull back to remove. Then unclip the wire harness from the bulb itself and reverse procedure to replace.

Headlight aiming

on each headlamp assembly, there will be either one or two plastic nuts that you can turn.

If you only have one nut on each, that will adjust the vertical aim of the headlights.

If you have two nuts on each, one will adjust the vertical and the other will adjust the horizontal.

Park your car on a level ground 30 feet from a wall and measure the height from the ground to the bulb and mark on a wall (do this for highs beams and low beams if the bulbs are separate, if highs and lows are the same bulb, only do it for the lows)

If the headlights read VOR, then aim the brightest part or cutoff part just below the mark on the wall. If it says VOL or nothing, aim them 2 inches below the mark on the wall.

Side light bulb change on hyundai terracan

hi there
the solution is simple,
you only need to undo the screw on top of the side light/indicator. then facing the head light place a flat headed screw driver under the bottom lip of side light. the bottom of the lihgt is on a small push fit stud, use a sponge or cloth to protect your bumper paint work then just apply pressure gently to lever side light out towards you, It will come dont worry, you may then change your bulbs if you wish remove the whole light unit you will see the bottom bolt as soon as you release the side light. to replace just push back into place then replace screw. whole job takes about five minutes

hope this helps kevan hildred
