Get a test light probe so you can see where power is getting to starting at the fuses under the hood. All the fuses there should have power getting to them even with the engine off.

My 2007 dodge ram abs and brake lights are on in conjunction with a lack for a better word "jerking" that i feel throughout the truck. And the "jerking" is intermittant. Whats going on?

sounds like two problems, bleed entire brake system, all brake fluid is contaminated, next, change transmission fluid & filter, use castrol ATF TRANS FLUID, if speed sensor code was pulled from ECM, change it. see how well this works, clear out trouble code from ECM, check all fuses, good luck

the circuit is shorted to the bulbs somewhere in the wires there is a short causing power to bypass the fuse and constantly run to the bulbs

Tail lights and dash lights out in 96 dodge ram. all other lights work. already replaced headlight switch. still no tail lights

does the fuse keep blowing ?? it is also on the same line as the cigarette lighter if the fuse is blowing check that there is nothing stuck in the lighter socket that is shorting it out. Could also be a bad ground wire not makeinig contact.
