Wont start, just makes a click noise.Checked all appropriate fuses,i know battery and alternator are fine.think it's the starter solenoid or the starter relay switch. As i disconnected the negative battery terminal,to reset the ecu, then it started,so i know the starter motor is fine..

If you are sure that all connections are clean and bright, including the battery to the ground and battery cable to the solenoid, jumper from the battery (+) to the solenoid (+). If the solenoid clicks, but motor doesn't turn over, your solenoid is bad. Try jumpering momentarily from the battery (+) to the starter (+) and that should cause the starter to rotate. If that makes your starter rotate, your solenoid is still bad. Be sure that your starter has a good ground connection
It could be the starter solenoid clicking if the noise comes while holding the key in the Start position. It can also be the starter relay. Here's a thread on a similar problem:
Hi, Sounds like a bad starter relay. When you turn your key to start, current flows through a relay which in turns supplies 12 volts to the solenoid on your starter motor. As you alluded to , typically the common clicking sound that we all hear occasionally, is usually related to a flat battery or bad starter motor, but as you have had these checked (by a professional?) the only possibility is the relay that supplies 12 volts DC to your starter motor solenoid. IF ITS MAKING A CLICKING NOISE WONT TURN OVER.CHECK BATTERY CABLE FOR TIGHTNESS AND NO CORROSSION. THE BATTERY VOLTAGE. SHOULD BE 12.5 VOLTS.IF NOT HAVE IT CHARGED AND TESTED.IF ITS GOOD HAVE ALTERNATOR CHECKED OUT.IF BOTH IS GOOD HAVE THE STARTER REMOVED TO HAVE IT AND THE STARTER SOLENOID TESTED.NOTE DUE TO LOCK OUT FEATURE.TURN OFF RADIO SO YOU WONT LOSE CODE WHEN YOU DISCONNECT NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE.
