Question about 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis
Dealership is quoting us $430.00 to repair the Check Engine light which shows that we need a new DPFE sensor and clean the EGR ports. What are the effects on the car if we DO NOT get this repaired??Thank you, Robin
Take a chance, buy the part at autozone.do it yourself, very easy, very few tools.ports prob are fine.i drove along time, over a year before i got fed up and fixed it.though i did clean every thing only caus im laid off.mor time than money

There really is no driveability concern with this is is just an emissions concern
