Make sure you turn all accessories off maybe even put a charger on before you do this. After turning the ignition switch to the start position release it to the run position for approximately ten minutes. The security light should go out. Turn ignition switch to the off position for 10 seconds. Then restart. It may take up to three of these procedures to relearn but in your case it usually works on the first try.

HAVE BATTERY CHARGE AND LOAD TESTED.IT COULD BE BATTERY.BUT CHECK BATTERY CABLES FOR TIGHTNESS AND CLEAN FROM CORROSION.NOW BATTERY VOLTAGE SUPPOSE TO BE 12.5 VOLTS.IF BATTERY VOLTS IS OKAY.YOU COULD HAVE A BAD STARTER SOLENOID OR STARTER.

It might be the starter, if it gets too much use the armature might be too weak and need extra Amps to get it to work right.

pull the fuse for the system that is a temporary fix but it will keep you going

Really, any proper size battery is okay to use.
You will not void anything and it will function properly.
So, shop local and get what they have.
Don't scrimp on quality though.
But any new battery will be better than what yo have.
Batteries typically need replacing every 5 years.
