Slow a/c leak on Ford Escape

Have the high service valve checked for a slow leak. This is were my system leaks. I have even replaced the line that the valve is in, but a year later it leaks again. Seems to be a common problem with this valve, a bad design of the valve. My next step is to epoxy it up, the system can still be serviced through the low pressure service valve, just takes a little longer.

Be aware that the plastic cap with the rubber seal inside screwed on covering the schrader valve IS considered the the primary seal on that high line service tap. .

An error code of 0457 came up. any idea what that is?

P0457 FORD - EVAP Control System Leak Detected (Fuel Filler Cap Loose/Off)
EVAP control system has a very large leak such as fuel filler cap fell off, EVAP control system does not operate properly.

Vehicles that meet enhanced evaporative requirements utilize a vacuum-based evaporative system integrity check. The evap system integrity check uses a Fuel Tank Pressure Transducer (FTPT), a Canister Vent Solenoid (CVS) and Fuel Level Input (FLI) along with the Vapor Management Valve (VMV) or Electric Vapor Management Valve (EVMV) to find 0.040" diameter or larger evap system leaks. Federal vehicles can utilize a 0.040" leak check rather than the 0.020" leak check required for California vehicles (click over pic for zoom).

Symptoms:
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Possible a noticeable fuel odor caused by the release of fuel vapors

Possible causes:
- Missing fuel filler cap
- Incorrect fuel filler cap used
- Fuel filler cap remains open or fails to close
- Foreign matter caught in fuel filler cap

Possible solution:
- Retight or replaced fuel tank filler cap

Hi. What parts are needed to replace engine oil leak? Valve cover, front timing cover gasket?

An oil leak can come from from several different places.

It could be from a valve cover, oil filter, oil pan, dip stick, oil drain line, oil pump, and a few other places.

I'd try to see where the leak is coming from first. Clean your engine bay and grab a bunch of lights.

Light up the engine bay and see where the leak is coming from. Once you find the leak, you'll know what to replace.

Replacing everything is just spending needless money. I'd also suggest checking to make sure you're not over filled.

My ABS keeps kicking in everytime I brake

did you bleed the brake lines after the brakes were fixed also low grade tires or even high grade tires can ocassionaly cause the problem you should also check for a leaking piston seal on the calipers and also check the brake components for contamination from grease and oil and check that the proper clearances were set when re installed also check that the the auto adjusters are working properly lastly take it to a dealer and have them check the master cylinder thats all i can think of
