Question about 1998 Chevrolet Camaro
The backlights on my Monsoon Radio's 3 & 6 button are out, but the rest of the buttons still light up. I had a problem with the radio and power windows cutting out intermittently, but thanks to this site, I fixed that with a little solder to the BCM relays. But a few of the buttons are still dark when the rest of them are lit.

It's going to be your BCM. The BCM is located right behind you glove box. What is happening is there is probably a broken solder connection on the PC borad. It took me all of 10 minutes to pull it out, remove the kick panel, and the bottom cover under
the glove box, pry the BCM towards the front of the car, you will here
it pop out, and then pull it down, disconnect the 3 wire harnesses, and whala
it's out ready to inspect. To open pry the two tabs out, and open like a book. open both side , and the board will then be able to pull out. Solder any broken connection, and then slip the board back in and install in reverse order. This should clear up you problem..
If it doesnt then you will need tpo go to a dealership, and order a new one specific to your car. you will need to give them you Vin number so you dont have to get another key cut.. Hope this helps everyone.
