94 Bravada, ABS pump keeps running, killing the battery. Ignition is off, I have to unplug it. Does this affect the AWD in these vehicles?

Sounds like a viable solution. I'll check around the pump to see if I can locate a serviceable relay. Other than that, I'm going to have to change the fkn pump.

It sounds like the pump motor relay is bad.

I looked it up and it doesn't have a serviceable relay. It is built into the Hydraulic assembly on the inner fender.

Either that or disable the ABS.

Without factory service & diagnostic manuals &

That is how I do things
You can't fix what you don't know about

200 Honda Passport ABS pump wont stop running...

There should be a 50amp fuse marked number 18 in the box near the battery that should power the pump.
You may be able to pull that fuse and kill the pump until you can get it fixed. You may also be able to unplug the pump at the wiring connector.

I put a new hud assembly on my 98 bravoda now it wont shift the speedometer keeps messing up and the abs light is on dose anyone no what is going on

The Bravada AWD system works with imput from the ABS wheel sensors. Sounds like the sensor in the hub you replaced isn't sending a proper signal. You must correct this for the system to work right. Check to see if the ABS connector is fully engaged, and check the wire to make sure it isn't cut.
If any thing dosen't appear wrong, it may be the sensor that's failed.

My ABS light is on and its like the brakes are

Bring the vehicle into a repair shop ASAP. There are several things that can be wrong such as calipers master cylinder, module, fluid exhaust valves . ABS problems will affect AWD. So in all likelyhood once ABS problem is cleared AWD will be fine.

My AWD doesn't work. I have a broken wire on my

definately repair that wire. now keep in mind that that particular wire is called a shielded wire and you need to be clean and careful when you repair it. make sure it is water tight and protected. this wire is for the abs wheel speed sensor and with no reading, the abs is inoperable which will affect the awd. the abs and smart trac work in conjuction with each other to help you remain stable. cheers.

Look under the hood where the ABS unit sits.(on drivers side)

Make sure the engine is NOT Running and the key is OFF. Also check that the parking brake is Not Engaged at this time.

First unplug the two wire connector on the ABS unit. IIRC the wire colors for this connector are Red and Black, and they are of a fairly thick gauge.

The ABS/Brake light will remain on at this time if you start the motor, so skip that and look for a second connector on the ABS unit. This one has multiple wires and are much thinner gauge than the first connector. **Unplug this connector. With key OFF, pump the brake pedal 10-15 times. Start the motor and there should be no ABS or Brake lights illuminated on the dash.

You just completely eliminated the ABS Unit from your braking system and will only have NON- ABS power brakes from now on. The ABS unit will only act as an extended brake fluid reservoir and will not influence braking an any will have to pump the brakes yourself if needed.

On my personal vehicle...also a '94 S10, I went one step further and fabricated an ABS pump elimination kit that allowed me to physically remove the entire unit and tie the lines back into the system using a simple valve found on many domestic master cylinders. I may fab up some kits if there is any interest, but it's really not needed...I'm just anal about my vehicles.

**NOTE: Some GM ABS units have two additional plugs besides the two wire connector, if so just unplug them both.

92 AWD, My hydraulic actuator on my ABS hums loud enough to hear from inside the car. It keeps humming with the car turned off. I have to disconnect the battery when I park to avoid running the battery...

Disconnecting the wires may consequently cause non function of ure vehicle speed reading as the system is dependant on your wheel speed suplied by ure abs speed sensors, it might also result in non starting depending on wheather or not the abs ecu is a main ecu or not, i strongly suggest you get hold of a proper wiring diagram and get sum one clued up to rather bypass the system by briging the concerned cercuits the proper way,
