If your clock doesn't work, it is probably because there is an internal fault within the clock module, itself. This is a common problem in many of the Japanese models - the Toyota Matrix included. The clock may be intermittent or have a dead disply.

If your Matrix clock is dead or intermittent, you can remove it yourself and have it professionally refurbished by Dr. Clock. He offers a lifetime warranty and does top-notch work.

SOURCE: radio does not work, everything else does, but the clock & radio

I was looking for help for you and noticed YOU posted this. Seems everyone claims it is the fuse. Try checking it with a meter. I'll bring one Saturday.

Ingterior lights, clock and radio memory won't work on 1998 isuzu rodeo when key is not on

The radio receives power from the 15A AUDIO FUSE in the dash fuse box. The radio memory receives power from the 10A DOME LIGHT FUSE in the same box. The problems you note suggest the radio may have been misconnected at some point or there has been a fuse failure or there is a broken connection.

I jumped my car battery today and now the sound doesnt work

While the normal thing that happens with an incorrect jump is the voltage regulator in the alternator being blown up, you would have way more indications than just the sound not working if it was bad.

First make sure the volume is turned up and the radio is on. If those are both in the right positions, then see if you can find other things not working correctly - clock; etc. If everything seems normal, check the fuses for the radio, then check the output of the radio.

2003 Toyota Echo radio/clock not working.

Disconnect your negative battery cable for about 10min. After you re-connect, the stereo should reset itself and start functioning. Best of luck!
