1992 Pace Arrow Motor Home 454 Chevy...not getting fuel to start

replaced the power steering pump and now the fuel injected carb isn't getting gas to start the engine, if you put gas in the carb it will start and run forever. Fuel pump is working, fuel filter is new and there is pressure/gas getting to carb but won't start unless you put gas directly in the carb. Figuring the power steering replacement is unrelated but??? Did have to disconnect the oil sending unit to get to power steering pump, but is has been connected and seems to be working correctly. Checked all fuses also...Any ideas????
