Question about 2002 Buick LeSabre
What could be the problem? It was working fine all last summer. First hot day this year, I turn on the air and it's blowing hot air no matter how low I set the temperatur.
Could be a number of possibilities. However, the most likely is loss of freon. The O-ring seals at a number of line connections tend to leak over time. There are other mechanical and electrical possibilities but you should first have someone check the freon charge with a set of gauges to measure the pressures. It might cost you a bit to have it tested but the pressure reading will tell you a LOT of things. In the long run it will save you money over guess-work.
