Question about 1997 BMW 5 Series
Need to know how to get in the trunk to jump start the battery of my 1997 bmw 528i. Battery is dead and I can't get in trunk to acess battery terminals. Also would like to know what website I can go to download a pdf copy of the owners manual.
There should be a connection under the hood where you can jump the battery. Look for a plastic box with a red plus sign on it. Open it to find the connection point. Connect the negative cable to a solid metal part such as the lifting lug on the head.
