If you had a head gasket leak then there would be higher oil pressure but I think you would notice other signs of problems. Air and oil are typically sucked into the carburetor or air intake from the top of the valve cover. This is the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve. You could try changing this valve. They are cheap and it is pretty easy to do yourself. In Honda's they can have problems leaking oil from this point and if yours is clogged for some reason, that may help (not sure).

As far as blowing a spark plug out, that is a pretty big problem. Immense pressure has to happen for the threads to fail, unless the spark plug wasn't screwed in all the way. I would say there is a mechanical problem in your engine somewhere. Either timing is off slightly or a valve isn't working correctly, or there is something in the cylinder that hit against the spark plug.

How did they repair the spark plug problem?

CHECK ENGINE CODE "PO108" WHAT IS THIS AND HOW TO CORRECT

HI. The code and its respective definition will be located below:

P0108 --- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High

Here are a few possible causes for the high signal transfer of the circuit:

  • Leaking EGR valve
  • Vacuum leaks
  • Dirty fuel injectors
  • Wrong fuel pressure
  • Low engine compression
  • Ignition miss
  • Carbon deposits on the intake valves
  • Valve problems
Check the engine for the above faults. If all the points above check out Ok; Replace the MAP sensor.

AC Wont charge after replacing components

whenever the ac system has been opened it should be hooked up to a vacuum pump designed to evacuate the ac system of any foreign debris and oil etc and after should be able to hold a vacuum to show that there are in fact no leaks then if all is ok at this point you can then charge your ac with the proper freon specified for you car when the pressure reaches satisfactory level the ac compressor will then cycle on you should not bypass the low pressure switch

Oil pressure fine when i start car. when you drive for a little the pressure will drop and rise any solutions.

Depending on the range of rise and fall, this is completely normal. Oil thins out as it gets hot so you will notice the pressure drop significantly at hot idle. A typical value would be 20psi, then as the engine revs up, the pump creates more pressure because it can now keep up with and exceed the leak-down or bleed-off from the bearings. The maximum pressure would be limited by the relief valve in the oil pump which could typically be as high as 60psi.

Want start or turnover

First ck for fuel pressure.Turn key on and listen for buzz sound near rear in gas tank. This is your fuel pump and when you cycle key off then on it should make noise for 2-3 seconds. If not have someone bang on fuel tank with the palm of their hand while you crank engine if it starts replace fuel pump. If no noise remove black cap on fuel rail on top of fuel injectors and push shrater valve with small screw driver and fuel should squert out. (this valve is the same as a tire shrater valve that you put air into) If not or very little fuel comes out then your fuel pump is bad or fuel pump wiring. Before replacing fuel pump take a test light and check the power wire and ground wire at fuel pump while cranking engine. If fuel system ok reply back for next step.
