My honda civic model 2007 1.8 exi automatic key is not switching on

Most likely the gear stick is not detecting the Park position. Try to shift the gear stick back and forth in the track and put it back in Park position. If this does not work then check if the steering lock is not stuck. Move the steering wheel left and right a few times and see if the ignition key moves. Otherwise a trip to the mechanic.

Cruise control broken off stearing wheel on crysler sebring 2007

if you are talking about the lever, this requires removal of the steering wheel. Check ebay for part and it should tell you all cars it will fit. If you are not ok with removing air bag, steering wheel, get the part and bring it to a mechanic.

My steering wheel is locked, ive tried everything cant get it to unlock.. need to remove steering wheel, to get to a rod that must be stuck... how do i go about that...?????

Is the front wheel jammed against a curb or rock so it cant move?

If so try to move the car a couple feet and try to unlock at the same time.

Good Luck

Unlocking the steering wheel

You'll need to have it diagnosed. Without actually looking at it myself, there are numerous possible causes and to take you through each one would take days.

have you tried wiggling the steering wheel?

while trying to turn the key, try to wiggle the steering wheel. sometimes, the lock to the steering wheel is preventing the key to turn.
