Question about 1996 Buick Skylark
On a very cold morning my parked 1996 Buick Skylark woke us up with a very loud alarm/horn noise. I did not know how to turn it off so i got in it and drove it around the block until it turned off on it's own. Then months down the road I was driving on the freeway and the car made the same noise until it stopped on it's own. It was very embarrassing; people probably thought I was laying on my horn.
The steering wheel horn pad/button doesn't have enough clearance. In very cold weather, the contacts touch, sounding the horn. Replace or repair the horn pad
