Well sometimes it takes up to a 100 miles to the module to get things straight! Two many censers map ,maf , knock. cam,o2,and so on! Drive it for a bit and see if it will reconfigure it's self! My opinion I could be wrong! Good luck!!

SOURCE: 1996 s10 2.2 engine starts but idles rough and will not rev up.

Hi! You must be frustrated by now! your code is marking that the O2 sensor is bad in bank 1. Did you replace the O2 sensor that is located  before the catalytic converter?  The S10 has an O2 sensor specially made for that cat. its about 30$ That would explain for your blackened spark plugs; your pc on the car is asking for more fuel. GOOD LUCK!!

SOURCE: in my 1997 Chevy Lumina 3.1L the CHECK ENGINE SOON light is on

If it was a stock rebuild the original PCM settings should be fine check all the fuses and wiring possibly something was damaged or left loose this stuff happens to the best of us.next the SES light needs to be reset with a scan tool make sure to record all codes stored in the computer as this will aid in diagnosing any problems. the car must be ran thru a drive cycle usually normal driving conditions of say a mix of city and highway driving until the PCM relearns all parameters like o2 sensors emissions sensors ect... this can also be checked with the scan tool in the readiness moniters these monitors will be reset every time the SES light is reset. when pumping the gas pedal 3 time you are just resetting the maintenance light.

SOURCE: 1990 chevy lumina, idling problem... to rich.... stalling......

check egr valve for vacuum leak. pull hose from manifold. put hose in your mouth like a straw and **** on it. if the valve moves, then it's good. if it doesn't, you need a new egr valve. WARNING, they are fricking expensive! auto zone price $204. NO JOKE

My 1991 gmc sierra will start but i have to feather the gas if I can get it to idle, the MAP sensor needs to be unplugged. I have changed the MAP 3 times with spares I had around.

Changing parts is not a solution or fix

Testing a vehicle to find a problem is

Once a problem is found, then the solution is
usually there in front of you

It starts
Is the fuel pressure correct?
Feathering the gas, that would pertain to the TPS Sensor
Was that tested?
MAP-no control over that,do you have vacuum leaks
& were any of the maps tested & correct for your elevation
or vehicle specs

Spark Plugs Good
Rotor & Cap Clean
Vacuum Leaks?

When it stops running and will not start back up, you'll need to figure out if you are lacking spark or fuel pressure to proceed with testing.

Pull the IAC out and have a look at it and the passage. You will be able to tell if it has been seating in the boar. Make sure you clean out the boar well before you replace the iac.
