Question about 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
This problem is only caused by one thing, a defective gas tank gauge sending unit, pull the gas tank and replace it, it is due to the chemicals added to the new clean burning gas, it destroys the older senders. The sender is only avail with the pump module, about $200 for the part, and 3 hours of labor, just did a 1999 last week for this same problem.
