SOURCE: can not remove rear axle on chevy avalanche 4x4 1500.

you will need to take off the differential cover (drain and change diff oil at this time)

rotate the axle so that you can get at the cross pin and remove it by undoing a small bolt that holds it in place. it should slide out with ease, but i have had them stick, take care not to let the cross pin get lodged where it is difficult to extract

a single C-clip is holding each axle inside the differential housing

you will need to push in from the outer end of the axle, while simultaneously manipulating the C-clip off of the inner axle, repeat this same process on the other side

i will put some of pics up in a minute

SOURCE: I need to remove the door panel on my 2004 Avalanche

There are plastic clips that hold the door panel inplace .. First look for any hidden screws near the door handle . there might be a little plastic cover that you need to remove with a small screw driver to find the screws.. look under the handle also to see if there are any hidden screws . next take a flat blade screw driver and start at the bottom corner and try gently prying the door panel off . try to stay close to the plastic clips not to damage them by prying real hard .. once you have snapped them loose all the way around .. lift up on the door panel to remove it from around the window lip and out it should come.. holler if you have any problems.. usually The mirrors on the chevys are up above the panel and there is a triangle plastic cover over it on the inside .. it will pry off also gently and there are 3 nuts there that need to be removed .. use caution these fall behind the door panel ... holler if you need more. SOURCE: How do I remove the third row seat. lever wont budge

I just fixed my dad's 04 suburban with the back seat's #1 lever not budging. It's a surprisingly simple fix: take a 5 inch flat head screw driver and as you look into the slot where the #1 handle goes, you will see a wheel mechanism that it is connected too. to the left of that wheel, you will see a hammer mechanism with a cord attached to it. all you have to do is carefully push the lever with the screw driver while gently lifting up on the handle.
Hope this helps!

How do i replace the reclining lever for a 2008 dodge avenger

The mechanism is probably held in with a bolt and spring, so you'll
have to remove the plastic side cover around the bottom of the seat,
to gain access. Once the cover is off, you will just need to remove and
replace the bad parts.

How do i remove the front seats of a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix?

On W-Body vehicles, the front seats are secured to the floorpan by two front hook attachments and two rear bolts installed to nuts welded to the floorpan.
The manually operated two-way front adjusters provides only fore and aft movement of the seat. When the seat adjuster handle located on the front seat is pulled up, the seat adjusters unlock, permitting travel of the seat. When the seat is in the desired position and the seat adjuster handle is released, the seat locks in place.
A power operated six-way seat adjuster is available. The adjusters are activated by three 12 volt, reversible, permanent magnet motors with a built-in circuit breaker. The motors are energized by a switch bolted on the seat side panel.
The three motors drive the front seat and rear vertical actuators and a horizontal actuator. When the adjusters reach the limit of travel, torque is absorbed through the rubber mounted grommets located between the motor and the support. An overload relay is provided in the circuit and will open should excessive stall be applied.
The optional 60/40 split bench front seats have seat back head restraints on the driver's and passenger's seat back. The head restraints are designed so they cannot be removed from the seat back without first inserting a small rounded tool inside the head restraint support tube to release the locking tab. The 60/40 split bench seat is equipped with a reclining mechanism on both the driver's and passenger's side. The recliner lever is located on the outboard side of the spring cushion. When the lever is pulled upward, the spring loaded dual linear reclining unit located in the cushion frame is released, allowing the seat back to be pushed rearward or allowing the spring loaded reclining unit to bring the seat back forward.
Bucket seats are equipped with manual reclining mechanisms. An optional six-way power seat adjuster is available. Some bucket seats are equipped with inertia seat back locks. This system allows the seat back to fold forward without requiring the occupant to release a locking lever or access to the rear seat area. During a sudden stop or deceleration, or if the front of the vehicle is nose down, the inertia system of the seat back lock will engage, holding the seat back in its rest position. A release lever is provided to allow manual release of the seat back lock when the vehicle is in the nose down position. The release lever is located at the lower rear outboard corner of the seat back.
Some W-Body vehicles (notably Pontiac coupes) have passenger front seats equipped with an E-Z Entry device. This is actuated, in an unoccupied seat, by completely folding the seat back forward disengaging the adjuster, and sliding the front seat forward to gain access to the rear seat area. To return the seat to its normal position, return the seat back to its rest position, and slide the entire seat rearward, engaging the adjuster.
W-Body rear seats are available in several styles including a rear seat with an integral child restraint device.
