Check that all vacuum lines have been connected. Check that the wiring to the accelerator control is connected . If it is a cable operation ensure that the cable has been fitted correctly

My Hyundai Accent 2005 CRDi cold starts perfectly, after running to few kms if i stop for a while say for 15 mins it doesn't starts at all. It require at least 1 hr to start it again.


You need to scan the ECM to see if there are any stored DTCs. Just guessing, it sounds like a bad cam or crank sensor. They can be temperamental when they get warmed up, if they are bad.

Hyundai matrix 1.6 head gasket replacement


Unscrew the rocker cover and remove the top casing, most cars now have gasket seal rather than a gasket so check this. Put new gasket in place and then replace top casing, replacing the bolts back in the order they should be in, then put rocker cover back on...

stage 1 +30nm
stage 2 +90 degrees
stage 3 slacken 360 degrees

In normal running condition should o/d off light be on or off for a hyunday gets


Itll only go into overdrive or (o/d) once the vehicle gets to a high enough speed, so leaving ithe o/d on makes no difference for city driving

Hyuandai high idle speed when in traffic


You don't, unless it's ridiculously high, like over 1750 rmp. Most cars will idle higher in drive then they do in park. The next time you get caught at a light put it in park and let it sit, it may go higher at first but most lower below what it was idling.

could be a bad cable connection. clean the battery terminals and the clamps on the battery cables. if it continues to do it, check for a bad ground cable from the battery.
