SOURCE: jaguar x-type 2002 fuse diagram

Cigarette lighter fuse is in the fuse box on he driver side of the car under the dash. It is a blue 15 amp fuse, located on the left of the fuse compartment. You will see 4 rows of little fuses. The 2nd row starts a little further to the left than the 1st row does. The fuse you need is that far left one in the 2nd row of fuses.

SOURCE: cigarette lighter fault Jaguar S Type 2005 2.7 D

is it the pull out lighter plug - or the socket not working? The element in the plug often breaks with age and use and a new plug lighter is the only option. Check the socket works by plugging in a tyre pump or something similar that is designed to run from a 12 v socket. Also check the centre connection in the socket as this often gets burnt and cannot make a good connection.
hope this helps - good luck,

SOURCE: i would like to know

There should be a fuse diagram either in your owners manual or on the fuse lid itself. It will indicate which fuse is for the lighter.

I have a 2003 3.0l Sport S Type Jaguar. The cigarette lighter socket is not working (cannot charge phone etc). I have changed the 20 amp fuse in the engine compartment but it is still not working.

part of the rear of the cigarette lighter is a built in fuse which blows when shorted. Fix is a new cigarette lighter are a lil soldier acrodd the terminals. Be carefull not to use the earth one though.

Cigarette lighter not working, no power to it, can you tell me where the fuse is located for it

The fuse for the cigarette lighter is located in the fuse box on the driver side of the car under the dash. It is a blue 15 amp fuse.
When you open this fuse box, you will see some larger relays with 4 rows of fuses below it. The fuse you are looking for is the first fuse in the 2nd row. in the 2002 X-type, that fuse is a little taller than the other ones.
