I still have that 98 Avalon that wont start I guess I'll just have to total it damn nice car can't get no damn help own the car and Drive it

Now that you've vented, let's see what we know. You lost your keys. It happens. Now the average Joe would get a replacement key from a locksmith, or if necessary form the dealer. Yes, it costs money to do that. Vehicles are an investment as well as a money pit. But you went further and broke the ignition trying to get it to start without a key. Now you are in far worse shape than before, since now you need both an ignition switch and a key to go in it. You say you can't get help. Well, help is available, but you don't really want the kind of help we provide. We assess the situation and advise on how best to repair the device. You want a cheap, free alternative fix. We shy away form those things since we don't really know for sure your intentions. We avoid giving out bubble-gum-and-baling-wire solutions since there are liability issues involved in such advice. At this point, you have really three choices:

1. Have it repaired properly and enjoy the remaining useful life of the vehicle.
2. Get a useful joker to help you hot wire it and hope it don't burn to the ground.
3. Dump it and either walk everywhere or buy another money pit.

I locked my keys in my 2001 Toyota echo and have to be at work in minutes how do I get them out

Take a heavy gauge coat hanger wire. Straighten the wire. Slide wedge into the gap on your car's door. Try to engage the end of wire on to the lock and pull it until it is unlocked. Although it will take time but keep on attempting to pull out the lock.
Good Luck.

Does the 1999 Echo have a body control module? Are the BCMs and ECUs the same unit or two separate units?

- Connect the pins 4 (CG) and 13 (TC) with a paper clip or automotive wire, keep open the driver's door and leave the ignition switch ON for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, switch OFF the ignition, remove the jumper wire and start the engine.

Rear seal links and I only have 88,000 miles. why

Only have 88K??! That is a good amount of miles to have on a car. I know it is a Toyota but things do start to go and things start to leak after a while on all cars. Your car is 10 years old- Its not new anymore. Things will start to leak over time and this is not unheard of. it is pretty much normal. Fix the leak and do regular matinance and you will get another 10 years and anothe 88k miles out of it.
