Question about 2001 Honda Accord

I can't find the valet switch on my 2001 Honda Accord

I don't believe the alarm system is aftermarket; i think it's factory-installed, and i read one person's post online who said they didn't think the factory alarm system had a valet switch.
so how am i supposed to prevent the horn from going off when i attach jumper cables?
thanks.

been there done that. fortunately i solved my own problem: the horn was going off as soon as i connected jumper cables, so i kept the remote for the alarm in my hand and as soon as the circuit was closed, i pushed the "unlock" button on the remote. that did the trick.

Look under dash above brake pedal......it should be mounted there. Or in some rare cases can be taped into wire harness .....not on lower edge of dash.

Alarm system keep going off ,only way to turn it off is adjust battery or unhook the battery.

Did you try double tapping the door open button to stop the alarm.

If it keeps going off you need to visit a dealership if it is a factory alarm or an alarm installer if it is an aftermarket alarm.

How do I disable my car alarm in my 91 Honda accord dx I dont have the stock keys new ignition the car just kills and wont restart for a while and runs roughbafter driving it for awhile

I don't believe that the 1991 Accord DX had a Honda accessory alarm option, but regardless, factory or aftermarket, it was wasn't installed at the factory, it was installed at the dealer or an aftermarket store. Just remove it, and reattach any cut wires.

How to disconnect the anti theft alarm on a 2001 ford taurus

First, is this a Ford factory installed alarm? Or an aftermarket alarm?

If it is factory then check the owners manual or visit your local Ford dealer to see what they have to say. If it is aftermarket then check your battery terminals for wires that have been attached to the posts. If there are no wires attached directly to the battery then find the fuse box and see if there have been any wires tied into any fuses.

Hope this gets you closer to an answer.

Don't know what the picture on the dashboard is for? Looks like a radiator, but not sure. Misplaced car manual

the alarm automatically arms 30 seconds after you lock the doors
i looked around online and found info for you

The FACTORY ALARM DISARM WIRE IS
lt. green/orange '-'conn. 2, pin 9 @ the BCM.

The factory alarm disarm wire is
negative trigger thru a 473 ohm resistor.
MUST use relay. The BCM
(Body Control Module) is attached to
the left of the fusebox.
Connector 1 is a gray 26 pin plug,
and connector 2 is a gray 22 pin plug.

Once Located, splice into this wire with
a simular guage wire, add the specified resistor
and put it to a solid chassis ground.
This terminates the alarm functions entirely.

However, at this point, this car would be exceedingly
easy to steel, so I suggest you get an aftermarket
alarm system to protect it from here on in.

Take this info to your local
stereo/car alarm guy and have them
do this for you.

How can I disarm the Alarm. I bought my 97 Cabrio used (it didn't come with the remote) The Door locks also don't work. I can't drive it because when I turn the key the alarm goes off and it...

If you don't have the remote then its pretty much useless. I have seen at Pep Boys where they sell replacements for the factory/dealer installed alarms. Or just remove the alarm completely and reconnect everything the way it was.
Without knowing what brand alarm it is a person cannot honestly answer how to disarm it as they all work differently.
If you know a brand and model you may be able to find downloadable instruction on the manufactures web site.
