I'm not exactly sure but most are on intake manifold or coolant bypass just off the manifold. To be sure go to Autozone.com and join membership witch is free . You then look ad your vehicle to add to my vehicles area and then on left hand side go to vehicle repair guides or component location A-Z and hopefully you find your answer plus answers to all kinds of fixes, locations and trouble shooting too. Good Luck !

If you are referring to the sensor that would control the radiator cooling fan, it should be located in the bottom of the radiator. If you are referring to the temperature gauge, it should be mounted somewhere on the intake manifold. There are other sensors that control other devices, usually called Thermol Ported Vacum Switches which control part of the Heating and A/C systems are also found on the intake manifold and usually have only vacum lines attached. This information applies to most all engines, regardless of manufacturer or age.
Hope this helps.

Change temperature sensor for 2001 dodge grand caravan

Sensor is at about the 1;00 o'clock position where the top radiator hose connects to the thermostat housing. Squeeze the wire connector to release it. You will need a ratchet with 6" extension and a 19MM deep well socket LOL it's not easy.

Next to the thermostat housing. It has 2 wires connected to it.
Follow the hoses, they will take you right to it.

2001 grand caravan overheating. then suddenly cool

Change your thermostat before it sticks closed completely. Sticky thermostat is usually the cause.
Another possibility is that your radiator fan temperature switch is going bad. This is usually located next to the upper radiator hose at the gooseneck on your engine where the thermostat is located.

RADIATOR fans 2001 dodge carvan won't work

There is a fuse to check, and a cooling fan relay, near, under the fans on drivers side, and the coolant sensor turns the fans on also,so it could be bad,or a cooling problem, like the thermostat closed up,or air in the system. Also the cooling fans them selfs could be bad.See if they come on when the ac is turned on,if they do,then the fuse is good, and the relay, and the fans are good, check everything else.
