Next to the thermostat housing. It has 2 wires connected to it.
Follow the hoses, they will take you right to it.

I need to replace bank 1 senor 1 on a 2005 Avalon and bank 1 senor 2.


bank 1 is the front bank closest to the grill
sensor 1 is the heated oxygen sensor and is located in the manifold or before the cat converter
sensor 2 is the oxygen sensor and is located after the cat converter
get a specialist oxygen sensor tool so that the small wires are not damaged during repalcement

it depends, you have senors on the exhaust(maybe several locations), inintake suchs map senor. need to be more specific.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. You need to change the 02 sensor. This is the sensor in the back. It is called a oxygen sensor. It is located on the exhaust system.

Were is the cam shaft senor and the crank shaft senor located


this car does not have a camshaft sensor the distributor pick up coil acts as a cam sensor here is crank sensor info the crank sensor is located in front of engine just behind the crankshaft pulley using ohmmeter check resistance between terminals on sensor replace is not within specs cold 1630-2740 ohms hot 2065-3225 ohms if this is not the problem please reply to your post ill monitor it. hope this helps

Throttle position sensor is closed how do I repair? Where is the cooling temperature senor located?


if the throttle postion sensor is reading closed you will have to replace the sensor check for power and ground at the sensor there should also be a 5volt refrence signal sent from the pcm......the coolant temp senor is located (looking under the hood) on the right side driver side next to the end of the upper hose

Have a 2001 jeep cherokee just put a cam senor in but still not starting can the crank senor be bad to or could i got the shaft that the senor sit on moved


The crank sensor is a well known cause of no spark condition, it is most likely the real problem, the crankshaft sensor for a Jeep 2001 is located behind the starter, you have to remove the starter to gain access, even then it is hard to get at.
