Question about 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Hello, while cleaning the windows in the trunk of my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2013 I pushed the button inside the trunk and closed it. That way I used to clean all back windows in all the cars I had before. We also have a dog gate - so no possibility to climb over the seats to the front door or to reach a handle to fold backseats down. After I cleaned the windows I pushed the button inside the trunk again to open it BUT nothing happened ! My husband had to safe me! There has to be a possibility to open it from the inside. Please let me know which one it is. Thanks for your help.
Double posted, i answered post 1 and even put a link
to your new cars operators guide, read page 36-38, its ALL there
how to use it, and what to DO, is stuck inside.

SOURCE: 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Problem
I would start by checking all the fuses under the hood.
There is a fuse called IOD which the factory leaves out and gets put in at the dealer.
That fuse could be bad.

i actually removed my 2 front seats very easily as a novice. There really is only i think 4 bolts that need to come out 2 in front and 2 in back. If i can remember correctly i believe it was a larger metric size. Although i dont have power seats, if you do just look for the clip connector and disengage

You need to remove all the skrews from the door. Normaly there is one in the handle of the door, one behind the in door lach handel and one under the bump out for the arm rest on the door. Than you need to take a flat head skrew driver slowly priying the panel off. There are plastic clips on the backside of the panel it is ok if you brake a few.
