2005 jaguar xj8 VDP parkbrake fault yellow light on, how do I resolve?

the most likeley cause is the rear pads siezed in the caliper frames, when you apply the electronic park brake it detects incorrect travel and disables the park brake.check that first.the park brake motor is also suspect. you should really get the fault codes out of the parkbrake module to help diagnose yhis issue.

How do i reteive codes 2006 pontiac g6 no communication from dlc is there a hidden fuse?

Sigh...there can be alot involved in NO COMM faults. Do the instrument warning lamps come on with the key as normal? Do they all go to self test modes when turning to start? Most GM products either have a dedicated fuse for DLC or use the Radio fuse. If you have a meter or a testlight, pin 16 (Looking at the DLC, top side is the wider of the 2 sides, bottom.narrow side furthest right is pin 16) will be the 12v power port. If you can test for power there, and you dont have it, you have a broken wire or a blown fuse or a bad connection most likely, or possible ignition switch issue.
If you DO have power (Minimum 10.5v to be sure it will connect), then it becomes more involved. You need to start checking grounds as well (DLC Pins 4 and 5. Top left is pin 1, count to the right) and then checking modules directly for power and ground or checking comm lines at the can buss connector. This really requires a system diagram for all modules connected on the comm buss, and a wiring diagram to know which wires you will be testing, plus its worlds easier if you have an enhanced scantool capable of talking to all modules on the vehicle. If no modukes can communicate, then you can backtrack from your DLC till you find where there is no signal, but that could take awhile. However if some communicate and others do not (Your car probably has 15 modules that can comm) then it can really speed up the process because you will then know where the fault ISNT, and can narrow down the search for locations.
Having seen a few GM systems get upset with water intrusion, or individual modules pulling down the buss, you could try disconnecting the ABS module connector and rechecking comm. I have seen loose plugs on that, as well as burned out ABS modules cause NO COMM. I only start there because its usually easy to unplug and test the ABS.
Aside from that, you really will need test equipment and accurate diagrams to properly proceed. But with any luck, the power and ground testing may get you going. Id start there if it were at my shop, and proceed to scan tests and buss wiring checks next.

u0003 is area network positive open
u0004 is area network positive comm speed low.
in short a can bus fault.

have you checked the can ohms?
have you scoped the can bus?

Check engine light came on

What do you mean "can't find code"? If the check engine light is on, there is a fault code stored in your onboard computer - that's the way it works. If you are using a generic OBD code reader, that is most likely the reason you cannot find any codes. You need to use a scanner that has the correct software to access your ENTIRE computer network, not just the "continuous memory" or "generic" side of your computer system.

The window problem is a seperate problem and must be diagnosed accordingly.

I had my 2004 Mazda Rx8 get an Engine Diagonistic@ Advance Auto & I got this code which I cannot decipher U0100-lost comm. with Engine control/Power Train Engine control Mod A.Could yiu please explain...

Codes that begin with the letter U are always communication fault codes between modules in a CAN system. They are basically to be ignored unless a problem is occuring. This is because all of the control modules in your car ( and there are a bunch of them ) are all communicating to each other and sending information between each other on one set of wires called a "twisted pair" Due to the high volume of infomation being sent and received there is the invevitable time when a message will be sent from one module to another and it is lost or not responded to in a timely manner (meaning in milliseconds) When this occurs then a U0100 or other comm fault code is stored.

YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE ABS DIAGNOSED. IT IS MORE THAN LIKELY AN ELECTRICAL FAULT OR COMM PROBLEM. POSSIBLY ECU OR A SPEED SENSOR. MOST COMMON TRY TO REPLACE DIFFERENTIAL MOUNTED SENSOR ON REAR DIFFERENTIAL, MOUNTED RIGHT ON TOP OF DIFFERENTIAL,CAN'T MISS IT HAS WIRE GOINF TO TOP OF DIFF AND HAS 10MM BOLT HOLDING IT IN.

Solution #1 is not correct.. reason, why engine does not start when those codes are shown, is pump control unit (PCU), or electromagnetic valve. You should give PCU to fix (mostly it's broken transistor inside) or to change you current PCU to the new (need to be programed) or buy whole new VP44 PSG5 pump.
Sorry for my broken language :)
