Both headlights dim 2002 mercury sable

Get a load test on both. There are 2 components to checking the system voltage and amperage. You can have good voltage but low amperage which will cause issues. 12.75v is low. A battery fully charged should be closer to 13.8v and charging should be around 14.4v

First the battery is drained. This will cause the clicking sound and possibly the shifter not releasing, if the voltage is low enough. The pop noise, not really sure about. Could be a fuse that popped. But a bad fuse wouldn't cause the starter to click. It would turn the engine or you would have nothing.

Why is my oil life percent is 9 and can I drive still or I have to change engine oil soon for the mercury mountaineer 2006

Regular maintenance is needed for oil changes. If your oil level is dropping you need to keep it up to operating level but you do need to find out why it is burning or losing oil. If your oil is black then it needs to be changed regardless of the miles on it.

Mercury Grand Marquis voltage reads low, but car still runs and dash went out

Worn out Battery or one that won't take or hold a charge
as well as an Alternator not working correctly

All the symptoms point to low computer module voltage
as a result of what I said above

Could be a worn ignition switch, only if that has something
to do with alternator regulator being turned on
