Air conditioner not blowing out cold air. Compresser doesn't seem to be kicking on.

Probably just needs to be recharged. If they are low on product, they won't kick in because the low pressure switch won't allow it. You can buy a re-charge kit at Walmart, or most parts stores and do it yourself. Once you have the kit, the next time all you need to buy is a can of R134.

Air Conditioner

Someone will need to find out if the compressor clutch is failing, or if it is loosing power due to a pressure switch or other problem.
A faulty relay or switch could get hot and switch off power to the compressor.

My 1995 toyota camry air conditioner blows hot air

Has two cans of charger, compresser running, the bigger of the two AC hoses cold while charging nothing inside car, then hose got hot and still nothing inside car. It's been charged for month tried daily, seems to be no links. Manuel has no information. Anyone know anything to try? Thanks for your help.

You cannot verify the operation of the air conditioner based on the line temperatures. You should invest in a set of AC pressure gauges to assist in troubleshooting the system. The pressures of the refrigerant will allow you to narrow down the problem.

Can I take out my air conditioner compresser and still have my defrost work?

it will still blow air on your windshield but the reason the ac comes on is to blow dry air on your wind shield, potentially a cold windshield and damp air could make problems worse. but ive been in the situation before it still works with no noticable difference most of the time

Directly connect the compressor from the battery terminals to find out whether its working or not & then make a decision so as to solve this problem...............sodeep

2001 Hyundai Santa Fe 4 cylinder..air conditioner does not work, went to recharge refridgerant and it has pressure..low pressure valve is cold and air condtioner compresser kicks in when turned on but no...

check to see if you have power at the AC AND HEAT blower motor.if yes your blower motor is defective.if you have no power to blower motor look at fuse- blower relay-resistor or bad control switch.
