3500 rpm.. you must be doing 80 or 90 mph. Keep it under 3k

the ignition control module may be going bad. call your local honda dealer with your vin # they had a recall on the control module for 91-93. they will tell you if yours was replaced already if not you can pick one up for $60 at autoparts store and it is located inside distributor

You may have a cracked head, block or blown head gasket that is leaking combustion gas into the cooling system. If you dont have a combution leak detector kit you can take it to a trusted mechanic tell them the problems you've had and the parts you've replaced. Ask them to check for a combustion leak in the cooling system. A minor combustion leak in the cooling system can sometimes mimic the symptoms of overheating.

What is better to drive in town drive 3 or 4 on a 1991 honda accord

I would say to keep the RPM's aroud 2k....Anything under that is letting the motor load up so to speak....plus you have the power to accelerate if you need to with out gearing down.
