1998 Buick LeSabre when heat is off there is a loud rattling noise when heat is on the rattling noise goes away what is this

Something is stuck in your blower fan. There should be a access door behind your glove box. Drop your glovebox down out of the way, open the panel, there may be a filter for you to pull out, clean it all out, and re assemble.

05 nissan maxima making a loud noise when the heater or the AC turns on but the heater and AC works need help

-Depend on what sound like...? It could be loose fan, some object hang in to the fan, or dry leave or may be some thing stuck inside the fan's housing.
-You can open from the inside and check. If find some thing, remove and turn on to find out still any noise before closed.

Good Luck

What is the cause of rattling noise in the engine compartment? Nothing shows on the dashboard.

Maybe a Tool that was left in the Engine Compartment? A Heat Shield that has come loose?

What were you doing JUST BEFORE the noise started? Did someone work on the car? Have you checked the Oil Level?

Mitsubishi mighty max 3.0 v8 loud noise coming from the fan area

If the fan is attached to the water pump tahe hold of a blade and try back and forward towards the motor. If there is movement there it will be either a fan hub failing or a water pump bearing. Second check remove the fan belt and check for noise.( idle engine for short period of time) If it is gone confirm pump by spinning any adjuster pulleys and check for noise or rough movement

My jeep is making a rattling noise in the front by the grill. What could this be? Someone said it might be my blower?

It could be something as simple as the fan blades rubbing up against the fan shroud or it could be the idler pulley bearings going bad and making a distinct rattling sound. I've seen them rattle till they break off, releasing the engine belts and stranding the vehicle. Have them checked out to see if they have bearing play, are worn and maybe need replacing.

Loud sound from fan upon starting, fan is running and its loud maybe a clicking or rattling type sound, might be some wobble?

fan shroud is loose or dropped down, or fan mount is loose. could be bent blade? could be engine mounts. any accident? could be radiator supports. you need to look and see where fan is hitting. could be fan clutch also. are you sure there is no junk stuck in fan shroud like tree branch or other road debris?

AC fan rattles the whole car

it may not be the fan. most likely is the compressor. check the belt or the pulley is not mounted coorectly or one of them is bend.
lastly check the engine mount.
