When you changed the joint, I'm assuming you had the shaft out. A common problem occurs when you put the shaft back in, it doesn't fully seat in the transaxle and then the differential is only connected to one wheel so it can't transmit power. You will have to disconnect the lower ball joint again, move the lower control arm down a bit, so that you can push the axle into the splines of the transmission.

Very easy fix but will take sum time and specialty tools. If you have the tools just start tareing into it. If you dont, take it to the dealer. If you need step by step instructions I can help.

your car could still be under warranty depending on the miles the car have call your Acura dealer for info. I had my transmission replaced in Feb 09 and it was done for FREE!!
