SOURCE: 2002 Mini Cooper Brake Disc Wear

it may be time for new brake pads, and you usually want to replace your rotors when you change pads, you can get away with not doing and instead take it to a shop and get them "turned"

if you want to see for yourself if it's time for new brake pads just remove one of your wheels and look at your brake pads (they are the what actually make contact with your rotor) and if the pad itself is less than the width of about 2 or three credit cards, then it's time for new pads.

hope that was helpful....good luck!

SOURCE: CVT transmission fluid mini cooper 04 automatic

The manual has a mis print, according to MINI the correct oil to use is ESSO CVT Z2L 799 fluid and there are no other manufacturers that use it so sorry but you will have to buy it from the main dealer.

SOURCE: How do you fit a leather gearlever boot to a mini automatic

Hello. I would open it up enough to slide it on and then use a hot glue gun to secure it. If you ever want to remove it again, a hair blow dryer set on high will warm the glue up so u can remove the boot. J.

SOURCE: mini cooper 2004 rear wiper parking fault

the problem will be in the gearbox on the wiper motor ,inside this gearbox on teh end where the drive comes out is a set of contacts and the brushes are not making contact or the path has worn out or broke ,so best advice is to ignore the fault as a new motor is not that cheap unless you can find one in the scrap yard

I have an 02 mini cooper and the tyre pressure light has come on. Will this automatically go off when the tyre pressure is correct or do I have to reset the light? If so where is the reset button and

On an '02 the tire pressure light is under the parking brake lever or on the side of the parking brake cover. You will have to reset your tire light to make it turn off. Press and hold button for five seconds with the key in the on position but engine not started. Then start car and drive for a couple miles by which the light will go out. If the light does not go out you might have a problem with the sensor that sends information to the tire pressure module.
