Question about 2001 Isuzu Rodeo
My compressor went out and I got a $2500 estimate! The mechanic said that Isuzu had changed compressors or something and that it was not really a good fix. Anyone else have this problem, or a better solution? With it being 100 degrees right now, any helpful solution would be appreciated!
Is it a bad compressor or the compressor clutch, if your compressor has gone bad you can get one from partstrain.com and install it your self, juts make sure you order the O rings for the high and low pressure hose hosing to the compressor. The average price to the compressor is $350.00 and after you have installed the compressor just have the system serviced from a A/C repair shop. There going to vacuum all the moisture out and then recharge the system. This should keep your cost under $500.00. Good luck and hope this helps. http://www.partstrain.com/
