Question about 2003 Chevrolet Suburban

1 Answer

Why doesn't my front panel of a/c is not blowing air?

I changed the original stereo to a commercial stereo and now the front panel of a/c is not blowing air anymore. Everywhere else the air blows fine, and also the defrost works well. It's only the front that doesn't want to blow where the passenger and the driver go. What can be the problem?

The a/c in my car doesn't work

The system will need to be recharged with freon and if there is no air flow in the front then there may be a stuck vent flap that won't move or a faulty motor that moves the flap.

the resister block needs changing... oddly enough i'm unsure of what fan you are saying is not working.... if it's the front.. the resister block is located on the duct work under the dash for the air... near the fan... you will see a connector going into the side of the duct work. two screws and the block comes out... should be fairly obvious for the rear one but it will be near the fan.

put 1 size higher fuse in should solve he problem if not you will have to check to see if any wires are touching that sould not be for example on my stereo in my golf the live wire was worn so it was touching the chasis and blowing my stereo fuses
