How to remove anti theft lug nut on an Acura without tool
So I had the tool for the anti theft lug nuts but my father who isn't young anymore changed my tire once and lost the tool. I now need to replace my tire with the spare so that I can get to the dealership to have a new tire put on but I can't get the tire off. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove the anti theft lug without the tool?

There are tools designed specifically for this problem which you can probably buy at Sears or any parts store, or you can do what we usually end up doing, and that is taking a 12 point socket that'll fit snugly on the nut and hammering it on. You may have to drive it on the nut really hard, and this may ruin the socket so try to find one you don't mind losing. Then back the nut off.

Before doing anything make sure you have air in your spare..,A good Jack and spare tire removal kit....The kit should be under or behind the passenger seat..I don't like the factory Jack it comes with because sometimes you need a good strong block of wood to achieve the height you need to contact the vehicle..and sometimes they don't work correctly...Some spare tire release tools are under the hood..It is a long skinny rod ...You have to use rod or rod kit to stick through the rear bumper at the slot and turn the rod counterclockwise after you feel the rod connect with the release mechanism..,Lower the spare until it touches the ground then keep turning so you can have enough slack to remove cable from spare tire...Set parking brake while in park and use the lug nut removal tool to break loose the lug nuts before raising vehicle..They are removed counter clockwise..Don't take nuts off just break them loose...Block front wheels for safety with anything solid you can find if you are stranded..If you can't find anything rely on parking brake..It should be safe in park but safety first....Jack vehicle up..,remove all lug nuts put them in a safe clean place don't lose them..Remove flat tire..Install spare..Start each lug nut and tighten them all tight by hand..Snug each nut clockwise in a star pattern ..Get them good and tight but don't try to hurt yourself or break the stud...Lower vehicle,remove Jack..Snug each lug nut once again for safety..Put flat in truck bed for now rather than back in the spare storage area because it has to be repaired..Crank spare cable that held spare under truck clockwise until it stops.Remove tool..,Gather all tools used., remove blocks from front tires.,Head to a tire store...
You need a jack to lift the vehicle high enough to get the tire off and the new one on, you need a lug wrench to loosen and tighten the lug nuts and depending on the rims you might have hub caps that are part of the rim or seperate and if they are seperate, you need something to pry them off with. So the proper way to do this is:
Before you raise it with the jack, take the lug wrench and loosen the lug nuts a little. This is easier when the tire is on the ground because depending on the tire location, it will turn if you lift it. So when the weight is on it, it wont turn. Then you put the jach under the car and near the tire you are lifting and you use the jack to raise the tire. Then finish taking the lug nuts off. Remove the tire and put the new tire on. You may have to raise the jack some more to make it high enough. Put the lug nuts back on tight as you can and lower the car. Then tighten the lug nuts again to be sure. You should tighten lug nuts by skipping them. In other words start with one and tighten it, skip the next one and tighten the third one. When you go all the way around, go to the ones you skipped and tighten those.
Open the hatch back. On the left-hand side is a panel that you can open in which the jack resides. Take that out.
(If you want to use the spare tire, located under the trunk space...) You will see a plastic disc on the floor of the trunk space (where you store your luggage/groceries/etc). With a flat head screw driver pop the flat disc up & off. This will reveal a nut that you can turn to lower/release the spare tire that is directly underneath it.
If your T&C is like mine, you have a plastic cover in the middle of each alloy wheel that covers the lug nuts. This plastic cover can be popped off with the flat/nubby end of the crow bar that comes with the jack. It fits perfectly into a slot on the plastic cover.
Once you get the plastic cover off, the 5 lug nuts are revealed to you. Before you jack up the van, even a little, I would try to loosen all 5 lug nuts, just a bit...to get them going. Once the van is jacked up, it will be difficult to begin to loosen the lug nuts.
With the nuts loosened, set up the jack so that once you begin to turn it, the slot in the jack fits right into the frame of the van. You will see the frame that fits the slot in the jack between the front tires and back tires, on either side of the van.
Once the tire you want to change is fully lifted off of the ground, loosen the rest of the lug nuts and remove the tire. Replace it and reverse the order of what you just did. Get the 5 lug nuts onto the new tire, but only snug them up by hand. Once the tire touches the ground as the jack is lowered, then you can fully tighten the lug nuts with the crowbar.

common issue. take out your spare tire and use it to hit the inside of the wheel. this will knock it loose and save you excessive effort. once you are done you get anti sieze and apply it to the centre of the hub and install the wheel. torque is about 90 ft lbs..
Your going to have to buy four 9 point socket and a 5 pound sledge hammer, a breaker bar, a pipe, and 4 new lug nuts. If you lost the key to your anti theft lug nut you can take it to a professional tire repair shop and they can remove the lug nut's for you and hope they have a key that will work. If not there have a tool that can take the lug nut off, with a cost. If your going to try it your self, place the 9 point socket slightly smaller on the lug nut and hammer it on. Be careful not to hurt your self or the car. Once the socket is seized on the lug nut, use the breaker bar and the pipe as an extension for leverage to take the lug nut off. Once off discard the lug nut and socket and do the other three the same way. Good luck and hope this helps.
