I recommend you have someone recharge the vehicle air conditioning who has done it before.

Freeon

R134 a is the proper refrigerant for your vehicle. It will be filled through the low pressure port on the a/c system. The low pressure port is always the smaller of the two fittings that is on the larger of the two lines. You should be able to find a sticker for the a/c system that tells you how much the system holds. Do not go over this amount.

Freon smell coming through vents on 323ibmw

I don't think there is any smell put into refrigerant,so
you may be smelling coolant from a heater hose or
heater core leak or system valve, somewhere

The A/C cycling could be low refrigerant, in which case
you have it leak tested & system repaired

You don't try to add yourself,it will leak out & pollute
the atmosphere

No cold air coming out of air condition just hot air

Check you ac belt under the hood is not slipping. Check that your ac clutch is engaging.
Check your freeon level.
It is possible you may have a freeon leak. The mechanics will use a dye to determine if you have a leak and where it is. The leak will be repaired and new freeon put in.

Where do we put freeon for the air conditionner

There are only 2 fittings on your ac system. The low side is the one you put in refrigerant (r134a). It is the smaller sized fitting usually located on low side hose that connects to receiver dryer (looks like a can on passenger side firewall). The quick connect fitting on any recharge hose will only fit on this correct fitting. The other one (high side) is too large to fit. So you cant put it in the wrong one.

Need to put freeon in a 2002 jaguar s-type. where

The lower port is located on the larger of the two lines going in/out of your A/C compressor (the lines are silver tubes and your compressor will have a belt of some sort attached to it).  You can also tell which is the lower port because that line will be cool/cold while the high side port line is smaller and will be warm/hot while the A/C is running on max.

A/c

I just filled my freeon today. You put it in the Big canister whear your line comes in from the compressor. So just follow the line coming from the compressor, closest to the passenger side. It should be capped with a black cap (The smaller black cap)
