89 s10 engine stalls. hesitation during acceleration.

I disagree with blood has nothing to do with injectors or fuel pump in 99% of all cases of this problem and is a very costly mistake to replace those things only to end up with only a $15 egr problem.

It is usually a faulty/bad EGR valve which is a very commonly known thing when it comes to s10's they were notorious for stalling and hesitation issues due to bad egr's from 89-94.

1993 Chevy S10 Blazer engine hesitation with smoke from exhaust

Had a 94 Olds Bravada that did a similar thing and it was EGR valve on the front of the intake. It' s easy to take off and clean with WD 40 and if you have an air compressor blow it out good.

I have 94 s10 blazer 4.3 the prob started the

throttle position sensor, or check to make sure you have vacume going to the map sensor. Alot of times the outlet on the throttle body gets plugged and there is no vacume at the map--causes it to die. unplug the throttle position sensor and then rev it up and see if its better.

My 2000 s10 blazer 4x4 doesnt lights on the dash.nothing.cleaned the wires on the tccm ,tested it with a test light and there is power.but no lights on the 4 hi or low or auto.what can it...

I have had luck over the years with unplugging the TCCM for about 5 minutes and plugging it back in for a reset if this doesn't work and all your fuses are ok I have also had the motor and circuit board on the side of the transfer case short out and cause this problem.

That would be your Accelerator pump diaphragm (part of a tune-up kit). It is a (roughly) square diaphragm that goes under the pump cover (four screws with a pivoting rod that controls the diaphragm) which is located on the right-hand side of the bottom portion (looking at the carb from the rear of the car) of all the Solex PICT carbs.
Kits are available from for around $15.00.
Hope this helps you.

The upper intake gaskets may be leaking. They are made of plastic and metal and will leak air. Do not remove the cover on very top of manifold when changing.

You should definitely replace the fuel filter though this probably won't fix your hesitation. It wouldn't hurt to replace the spark plugs this is usually the culprit on these engine. I have the same engine in a '99 caravan and found the for some reason the spark plugs on cylinder 3 and 4 loosen up after one year and cause a misfire between 45 and 50 mph under load (when mildly accelerating).
