Question about 2006 Volkswagen Golf 1.4
When I started the car I had it iddleing for about 2 minutes then I switched the lights on then the car cut out
Check the output on the alternator.. your battery might be just about dead.. Alternator should put out 14.5 v or more with the engine running, The battery with the engine stopped should read 12V or better.. with the engine running the battery should read almost as much as the alternator output.
