I replaced the flasher in the truck and they still don't work. The hazards work and all the lights are working just not the signal lights

My turn signals have stopped working on my 1996 Dodge Ram truck, the hazard flasher is still working, I checked the fuses & they are not blown....what do I do?

check the bulbs and sockets they plug into then i would check any ground wires going to or coming from the turn signals i would also check the turn signal switch for any broken parts the hazard flasher is also the same flasher that runs the turn signals so there pretty cheap.

Is there a fuse for the turn signals? hazards works ok but the turn signal only the light comes on.

Should be two flasher relays.Easiest way to find them is to turn flashers on and find where the clicking is coming from. They are usually within a few inches of each other.Once you find them both remove the one for the hazard flashers and install it in place of the one for turn signals. If this corrects your issue you will need to purchase another flasher relay.

Turn signals dont work headlights dont dim heater fan doesnt work

Did all these problems happen all at one time?? If so you may have a bad body ground. Try running a electrical wire from the (-) negative side of the battery to the body and see if this works. Be sure this wire is to a place with no paint as low voltage electricity will not flow through paint.
A). If not try replacing the turn signal flasher for the turn signal problem. This is usually the culprit and it's easiest and cheapest to replace. The turn signal flasher will be found under the driver side dash next to the hazard flasher. Turn the hazard flasher one to locate it. If you want try swapping the turn signal flasher with the hazard flasher to see if this fixes it. They are the same style flasher.
If this doesn't work you may a faulty turn signal switch or some wiring issues.
B). It could as simple as the head lights bulbs need to be replaced, it's rare but I have seen when both bulbs blew at or near the same time. If your able check the voltage at the head sockets.
C). Could be a bad blower motor or switch. I'm not sure if these models have a resistor block or not. The resister block controls the electrical current going to blower motor which controls the speed of the blower fan.

1997 dodge dakota signal/hazard problem

This vehicle has what is known as a flasher unit, it is a relay assembly under the dash. This is the relay that clicks when your signals are on. it may need to be replaced. Another possible trouble spot could be the wiring in the steering column. Are there any other issues with horn, cruise etc.
Check the flasher first and get back to me.
