How do I bleed air out of my Mazda diesel truck

If you ran out of fuel then it has got an air lock in the fuel lines! Bleed the system of air and bingo your up and running!

check and bleed air from the fuel system. check for fuel level in the tank. run the fault codes to check for cam/crank position sensors and broken timing belt.

Remove the line on top of them and the unscrew like spark plugs u can clean them out with injector cleaner when you reinstall them do not tighten fuel lines all the way leave them loose just a little till fuel sprays out or starts when starts snug each one and crack each one at a time to bleed out the air if it where me I would just put sea foam cleaner in fuse and it won't take long and they will clean up

check and change the fuel filters including the water filter.. If you are using a bio diesel then don't. Check and bleed any air out of the pump and lines. check that the air valve on top of the tank is clean and allowing the tank to vent and not get a vacuum. Check for a moss like substance in the tank as it will seriously affect the diesel and injectors. Basically It sounds as if the pump is starving for fuel from a blockage or air in the system.

You may have to bleed the fuel system. There may be a very small air leak in the fuel supply line and after a long time idle, the fuel seeps bac into the tank, leaving an air lock in the pipe. When you go to start, this air makes its way into your injection pump & needs to be bled out before the engine will start. Begin from your fuel filter bleed valve, next the injection pump using the primer pump to transfer the fuel. Next loosen off the injector pipes and crank the engine over until fuel sprays form all the joints. Tighten injector pipes and start. It may run a bit rough for to begin with, but will soon even out. If it doesn't start, repeat bleeding of injectors.

If this is a diesel you should not use starter fluid unless the glow plugs and glow plug controller is removed. If this is a diesel you most likely have air in the fuel system.When changing fuel filter on a diesel fill the filter container with clean diesel,screw the top of the fuel filter canister on open the bleed screw and turn the engine over until only clear fuel (no air bubbles)is bled from fuel system. Then you may have to turn loose the connector on the innjectors to bleed more air out of the fuel system.

Have you run the car without fuel? There must not be any air in the fuel line... Blead the fuel line of air and try to start it. There should be bleader screws under the hood....

This is NOT good! You can try bleeding the fuel system first. More than likely, air is trapped in the fuel lines, injector, and injector lines. Bleed at the fuel pump, (On the fuel pump to injector pump side), then the injector pump, then each line.

(You have to loosen the fitting to each line to each part, then when the air is bled out, and fuel comes through steadily, close it)

I also suggest an attorney to resolve the problem, as there may be damage. Pistons could have holes in them. Do a compression check.

Usually diesel's have 16:1 ratio compression. Today's gasoline engines have anywhere from 8:1, to 8.5:1, to maybe 9.0:1, (Maybe)

I'm willing to bet though, that you just have air in the system, and it needs to be fully bled out.

You have to start at the source, loosen each fitting, bleed the air out, and continue on down the line.
